Valley Pan: The valley pan provides access to the lifters and push rods. |

| It's located under the intake manifold and is bolted to the webs of the engine block. Stamped out of steel it has a passage that allows crankcase gasses to pass through a positive crankcase ventilation valve (PCV Valve) on top of the pan. A gasket seals the pan to the heads and block. | ||||
